Our purpose
Bringing specialized diagnostics to people who used to travel for them.
At CEDILAR we believe an accurate, timely diagnosis can change the course of a person’s health and that of their whole family. We exist to close the access gap to specialized studies in the southern Dominican Republic and to strengthen our community’s health system.
CEDILAR was founded to bring the southern region specialized diagnostic services that many patients previously had to travel to other cities to obtain.

40-slice CT, CT angiography, CT urography, virtual colonoscopy and 3D reconstructions.

General studies, 2D, 3D and 4D obstetric scans, plus arterial, venous, carotid, renal and fetal Doppler.

Digital X-ray
Skull, chest, abdomen, spine, extremities and joints with the views prescribed for each study.

2D digital mammography
Bilateral and unilateral mammography, routine or screening, diagnostic, plus spot compression and magnification views.

Non-invasive cardiology
Electrocardiogram, 24, 48 and 72-hour Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, stress testing and echocardiography.

Diagnostic studies are performed according to your treating physician’s instructions. Bring your order so we can confirm the modality and the exact views prescribed for you.
What should I bring on the day of my study?
Bring your medical order, your previous studies if you have them, a list of the medications you are taking and a photo ID. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid metal accessories.
Do you perform contrast studies?
Yes, we perform selected contrast-enhanced studies, subject to medical indication and the applicable requirements. Our team will explain the necessary preparation when you book.
Can I have a study done if I am pregnant?
Always tell us before booking and when you arrive at the center. Depending on the study prescribed, our team will assess the safest alternative for you together with your physician.
Do you work with health insurance?
